Your personal hosts are Russell and Stephanie, the owners and visionaries of the Costa Rica Surfing Company. Russell and Stephanie will be the only people that you speak with from your first email or phone call. They carefully coordinate every detail of your vacation, ensuring a smooth and stress free experience. They have spent eight years searching for the best adventures, surf breaks, beachfront condos and chefs to create the perfect vacation packages to Costa Rica!

Russell and Stephanie first met in Maui, Hawaii in 2006 and they very quickly became inseparable. They were both adventure seekers, nature lovers and big dreamers. Russell taught surf lessons as head surf instructor at one of the oldest surf schools in Maui while Stephanie worked as a bank teller. Russell loved teaching students to surf and dreamed of the day he would open his own surf school. After 3 years of courtship the two married and sealed their love with a promise to live this adventure of life together forever.

Russell first visited Costa Rica in 2002 and made several trips back over the years. He often shared the great stories of his adventures in Costa Rica with Stephanie. The stories of the beautiful rain forest, the endless beaches and the kind and generous people of Costa Rica became very appealing to Stephanie. Russell had a vision of owning his own surf and adventure business but something much more than a surf camp. He tired of only spending one surf lesson with a client and not having enough time to fully teach all the fundamentals of surfing that a student would need to truly learn and appreciate surfing. The couple decided to take a leap of faith and start their own surf company in Costa Rica! The couple sold their belongings and moved to the Pacific coastline of tropical Costa Rica. No longer just a dream the Costa Rica Surfing Company was born in 2010! Russell and Stephanie are living the grandest adventure of all and they want to share the experience with you!
